Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute
We built a web-based database application that allows marine biologists and smithsonian scientists to reference marine entity populations within GIS oceanic regions. The project was conducted in conjunction with Dr Ross Robertson of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. The online database covers the 1,287 species of fish native to the tropical Eastern Pacific coastline of South America.
